Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE)
This is an effective treatment to get rid of fungus gnats if used correctly.
We believe that this should be an essential additive to and soil mix which you create yourself or purchase for use.
To be effective, after the fact, your plants need to be dry on top but have enough moisture underneath to keep your plant healthy while the DE works its magic. DE contains microscopic shards of silica that physically cut up any insect that comes into contact with it. It can damage the bodies of insects on the outside and also damage them if DE is ingested.
