This photo shows very well how the branches were trained to aid in filling the tent and creating a nice flat canopy.
This particular branch was an older one which was trained later to keep the canopy flat, thus the buds are short in length.

A better harvest could have been had by letting the plant stay in a vegetative state longer and having the branches stretch out and be taller vertically after training.
This particular plant was not supercropped, it was trained by tying down branches.
