Conservatives Will Not Reverse Cannabis Legalization if Elected in 2019

We watched the CTV interview on Youtube tonight with Andrew Scheer and he stated…

“We will maintain…the fact that cannabis is legal, we are not going to change that and we do support the idea of people having those records pardoned,”

This is a different answer compared to interviews from October 2018 where there was talk of re-criminalizing Cannabis.

Maybe they have all figured out just how much money the Govt. is making from the whole legalization thing.

Justin Trudeau (Liberal Party of Canada) was promising legalization back in the summer of 2013, the same time that Stephen Harper (Conservative Party of Canada) was strongly opposed to legalization of marijuana saying that it would not happen under his government.

Aside from a couple Unionist Prime Ministers (1917-1921), Canada has been Conservative or Liberal since John A Macdonald was elected in 1867. With that being said does it did not really matter that the NDP classically figured Marijuana use should be a personal choice because chances of them hold any real authority has been pretty slim.
